Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our Blue Ox tow bar adapter bracket for the Roadmaster standard and crossbar style base plates. That's right folks, so with this adapter bracket, you can use your Blue Ox tow bar with your Roadmaster standard and crossbar style, the XL and EZ series base plates. So the result is gonna give you a 24 inch spacing in between the brackets. This is made here in the US, has a nice one year warranty. You get all the mounting hardware required and obviously the Blue Ox tow bar adapter bracket itself.
Now you can simply pop off the bar itself if it was installed on the vehicle, this is gonna fall right now, but if it was installed, you pull the pin out. And now that I've got it off, that's what one of those guys looks like. And again, this would be on the other side of the installation and I'm gonna go ahead and put that back in here. And then you would simply put your clip in place and clip it back. Sorry, I got this balanced here.
So basically that's what's gonna look like more or less when it's set up on the vehicle. Those clips, as you can see, they have a warning, kind of clear, hard plastic on 'em. They basically inform you how to set them up and make sure you're installing those clips correctly. A lot of people unfortunately turn 'em the wrong way and sometimes they can fall out over time and stuff. So make sure you're checking the instructions, how to use the product and you should have no problems whatsoever.
So a great addition, let's say you've already got one kind of tow bar and you got a different vehicle that maybe already has the Roadmaster set up or that kind of thing, the base plate. Now you can still keep your Blue Ox tow bar with this adapter and be on your road. Well folks, I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time. Nice product, again made here in the US. Excellent product , fits perfectly
The tow bar was delivered on time and it was of very good quality. My only complaint was that the installation instructions were not really clear and printed in a small font. (It would have been helpful to have a video.) But I figured it out and everything fit perfectly. I have used the tow bar several times with no problems.
This worked well for the crossover of the Roadmaster Base Plate to the Blue Ox Tow Bar. Fit fine and easy to use.

Bolted right up, the only issue was having to look up the torque specs for the bolts. Surprised the page wasn't included.
